SkinViva Reveal New Results of Sophisticated Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Sunday, July 19th, 2015

Manchester (PRWEB UK) 28 May 2015

Innovative cosmetic treatment company SkinViva has unveiled dramatic new ‘before and after’ pictures of their non-surgical rhinoplasty. The images show just how sophisticated and surprisingly effective the procedure has become.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is also known as the ‘liquid nose job’ as it uses injectable dermal fillers to reshape the nose, gently blending away bumps, humps and asymmetry by the careful positioning of dermal filler injections.

This makes it a much faster and safer option compared to surgery, which can take up to a year to heal fully and is a serious operation requiring general anaesthetic. Yet despite there being much less downtime from the procedure, lower risk and a faster recovery, the results show dramatic improvement.

SkinViva’s latest before and after photos show how effective non-surgical nose reshaping can be at rebalancing the facial features and creating better harmony. Using long-lasting dermal fillers, a prominent nose with a large bump was adjusted in order to smooth out the humped area for a smoother and straighter contour. The doctor also worked to balance the facial features by improving the whole side profile for a more harmonious silhouette. Following the procedure, the nose which formerly looked too large for the face now fits in a very balanced and more attractive way.

Dr Tim Pearce MB ChB BSc (Hons) MRCGP, Skinviva’s Clinical Director, explains more:

“It looks smaller because I enlarged the chin, and placed a small amount of dermal filler above and below the bump on the nose, and a small amount in the top lip. It is almost unbelievable if you weren’t there!”

“The surgical nose job can transform somebody’s profile, adjusting the balance and harmony of their facial features quite dramatically. However, the non-surgical alternative can achieve surprising results in a fraction of the time and cost with much lower risks and faster recovery. A surgical nose job for this patient would probably have involved breaking the nose, meaning months of uncomfortable recovery. Yet we achieved an excellent aesthetic result in just one session.”

“We would urge anybody contemplating nose job surgery for cosmetic reasons to consider the non-surgical rhinoplasty first; as it is a much safer and less invasive procedure.”

All of SkinViva’s Aesthetic Doctors are now trained in performing the non-surgical rhinoplasty, a treatment which demands high levels of aesthetic appreciation as well as injecting skill and expertise.

As the procedure uses temporary dermal fillers, results won’t last forever. However, with the latest long-lasting filler, results can be expected to last for 2 or more years. When the dermal fillers inevitably do ‘wear off’, the procedure can be repeated and indeed adjusted to suit the individual’s needs, as facial balance does alter with the natural ageing process.

The cost of the treatment is £595 and treatment is available in SkinViva’s network of skin treatment clinic locations across Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and the North West as well as their own flagship clinic in the Castlefield area of Manchester. http://www.skinviva.com/locations/

All professional skin treatments are carried out by qualified UK-registered doctors. The team is led by fully qualified doctor and Clinical Director, Dr Tim Pearce MB ChB BSc (Hons) MRCGP, who also established a skin treatments training school, SkinViva Training, in 2013, in order to teach best practice skills and techniques to other medical professionals wishing to develop high standards of cosmetic injection skills and knowledge.

Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery Unveils New Non-Surgical Treatment to Enhance Appearance

Saturday, February 21st, 2015

Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) January 30, 2015

Dr. Louis DeJoseph, one of the partners of Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery and one of the respected cosmetic surgeons in Atlanta, has announced that his practice has added Restylane Silk as a new injectable treatment.

According to Dr. DeJoseph, Restylane Silk is the first and only FDA-approved product designed for subtle lip enhancement and to treat nasolabial folds, which are the wrinkles and lines that form around the mouth also known as smile lines. Restylane Silk consists of a clear gel that is comprised of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural sugar found in the skin. The gel formula is then injected into the skin with a specially designed ultrafine needle. Because Restylane Silk utilizes smoother and smaller particles than what is typically used in other Restylane treatments, it creates more natural-looking results.

“The ideal candidate is anyone wanting softer, fuller lips,” said Dr. DeJoseph.

Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery began offering Restylane Silk on January 22 to patients. Dr. DeJoseph said typically patients will begin to see their desired results after just one treatment. He also added that there is minimal downtime for patients who undergo a Restylane Silk treatment, which is another important benefit.

Dr. DeJoseph is a national trainer for the leading brands of neurotoxins and facial fillers. He said adding Restylane Silk to his practice’s growing portfolio of facial fillers was a natural fit so that his patients have access to a more subtle approach to enhancing the lips. Additionally, Dr. DeJoseph said Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery is one of the few practices in the southeast to offer Restylane Silk.

“Restylane Silk is viewed to have more subtle results, which is attracting audiences from all ages,” added Dr. DeJoseph.

Founded in 1970, Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery was the first cosmetic surgery practice in Georgia to specialize in aesthetic plastic surgery for body and facial procedures. With a foundation of excellence, Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery is dedicated to the advancement and development of cosmetic and laser surgery techniques. Dr. DeJoseph and Dr. Marc Klein have set the standards for superior care and results at Premier Image Cosmetic & Laser Surgery.

Dr. DeJoseph’s focus is centered on relationships because he recognizes cosmetic procedures are a very personal choice for the patient.

ThermiGyn to Announce Vulvovaginal Breakthroughs in Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation at IMCAS World Conference

Wednesday, February 11th, 2015

Paris, France (PRWEB) January 28, 2015

ThermiGyn, a wholly owned subsidiary of ThermiHealth, a world leader in thermistor-regulated energy solutions for medical and aesthetic applications, will announce breakthroughs in non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation at the 17th Annual IMCAS World Conference in Paris on January 30th.

Aging, loss of collagen, and vaginal births can result in vulvolaxity and dryness both internally and externally. Pelvic organ prolapse, tissue stretching, and nerve impairment are known impediments of sexual satisfaction and well-being. Red Alinsod, MD, FACOG, FACS, ACGE will present the findings of a pilot study using the ThermiVa procedure to treat vulvovaginal tissue using temperature controlled radio frequency. Dr. Alinsod is a global leader in the area of temperature controlled RF for the treatment of vulvovaginal laxity, and he is the Chairman of the ThermiGyn Women’s Health Advisory Clinical Board.

In this pilot study, both vulvar laxity and vaginal laxity improved significantly for all patients after the first treatment and continued to improve after the third and final treatment. All participants reported improvement of sexual satisfaction as a result of the treatment. The primary endpoint of vulvovaginal tightening was achieved in all patients, and secondary endpoints of improved vaginal moisture and improved continence was achieved in selected patients with prior conditions. A larger multi-site IRB study has been approved, and participants are currently being selected.

Dr. Alinsod noted, “The potential for a simple and safe temperature controlled RF device to treat vulvovaginal laxity, atrophic vaginitis, mild to moderate stress incontinence, overactive bladder, and orgasmic dysfunctions holds great promise and could be transformational.”

ThermiHealth Technology

ThermiHealth Systems integrate precise thermistor controlled micro-invasive and non-invasive applicators into unique multiuse platforms. The micro-invasive applicators are true surgeons’ tools that provide surgeons a safe and effective instrument. Both the micro-invasive and the non-invasive applicators help the operator insure that specific tissue temperatures are achieved, maintained and monitored during procedures to help ensure safety and maximize results.

The ThermiAesthetics flagship product is the ThermiRF Temperature Controlled Radio Frequency Generator System and is FDA cleared for dermatological and general surgical procedures for electrocoagulation and hemostasis, and to create lesions in nervous tissue.
